Some of the main tea estates here are the TATA Tea Company and The Kolukkumalai tea estate is said to be the highest tea garden. Best time to visit Munnar Tea Gardens in between the months of October and April, when the weather is at its best.
Kerala Back Waters
Backwaters is a maze of water bodies stretching over 900 kilometers. One of the most important aspect of tourism in Kerala. The important Kerala backwater destinations are Alappuza, Kollam, Kasargod, Kozikode (Calicut), Kumarakom, Kuttanad and Thiruvananthpuram.
